Purpose and scope
This policy explains the email practices of Jhakaas Digital Pvt. Ltd. for Jhakaas viewer accounts, advertiser workspaces, support, business operations, and permitted marketing. It also explains how to report a suspicious or unwanted message that appears to come from Jhakaas.
Email we may send
- Authentication and security: OTPs, sign-in notices, verification, and account-protection messages.
- Service and support: ticket confirmations, replies, important service notices, and requested account communications.
- Advertiser and business operations: invitations, registration or review outcomes, campaign and creative notices, billing or payment records, reports, and partnership communications.
- Marketing: product, content, or promotional messages only where permission or another lawful basis applies and subject to the recipient’s available choices.
Permission and address sources
Jhakaas does not permit the use of purchased, rented, harvested, or scraped email lists. Addresses used for Jhakaas communications should come from the recipient, an authorised organisation, a genuine service or business relationship, or another lawful source.
We use account and transactional email only for the service or relationship it supports. Marketing messages must identify Jhakaas and provide a practical way to stop future marketing messages where required.
Email choices
You may unsubscribe from marketing email using the link or instructions in the message, or contact support@jhakaastv.com. We may still send non-promotional messages needed to complete a request, protect an account, provide a purchased service, maintain an advertiser relationship, or meet a legal obligation.
If you no longer control an address connected to an account, contact support so we can help secure or update the account.
Bounces, complaints, and delivery health
We monitor delivery failures and complaint signals from our email providers. Addresses associated with hard bounces, repeated delivery failures, abuse complaints, or invalid destinations may be suppressed from further email. We may pause or restrict sending when needed to protect recipients and email-system integrity.
Email security
- Jhakaas support will never ask you to send back an OTP, password, or full payment-card details by email.
- Check the sender and destination before opening links or attachments.
- Do not forward an active OTP to anyone. OTPs are time-limited and intended only for the person who requested them.
- If a message looks suspicious, do not interact with it; report it using the channel below.
Report unwanted or suspicious email
Email support@jhakaastv.com with the subject “Email abuse report”, or use our contact form and select Unwanted or suspicious email.
Include the sender address, date, subject line, and full email headers where possible. You may attach a screenshot, but remove unrelated sensitive information and never include an active OTP or password. We will review the report and take appropriate action, which may include suppression, account protection, or investigation of misuse.
Policy updates
We may update this policy when our messaging practices or obligations change. The current version and effective date will remain available on this page.
